Research Help @ the Cofrin Library

Need assistance with a research paper or project? The Cofrin Library Reference staff is here to help! Our goal is to help you find the information you need while teaching you how to become a self-sufficient library user. Reference librarians can help you to:


  • Learn how to effectively use the Cofrin Library Catalog, print collections, and electronic resources
  • Verify whether the library owns a particular item
  • Identify appropriate search terms
  • Develop a research strategy
  • Evaluate research results
  • Refer you to other libraries, individuals, or associations

How to get help:

  • Reference Desk: The reference desk is staffed by professional librarians seven days a week while classes are in session. Check here for reference desk hours.
  • Telephone: Reference question can be answered by phone during the reference desk hours. If no one answers, please leave a message with your question and contact information. (920)465-2303
  • E-mail: Send the reference staff an email by filling out this form. We generally respond within 24 hours, weekends may take a bit longer.
