Copyright 101
Come and learn the basics of copyright as it pertains to faculty, staff and students. This 90-minute workshop will cover what copyright is, when you have to get permission to use someone else's work, what the four factors are for "fair use," and some of the issues related to course reserves, coursepacks, campus photocopying, multimedia and distance education. Presenters are Marlys Brunsting, David A. Cofrin Library, and Mike Barry, director of Institutional Support.
