Smithsonian Global Sound Trial
The Cofrin Library is considering a new music database, Smithsonian Global Sound. This collection contains over 35,000 individual audio tracks, including spoken word, world music, and natural and human made sound. Follow the instructions below to access the trial site for this new product.
1. Go to the trial access page at http://glmu.classical.com
2. The first time you access your trial, you will be prompted for the following access name and password:

[NOTE: these are case sensitive]
After you have successfully accessed your trial for the first time, you should not need to provide these details again in the future.
3. The words "Subscription Trial Site" should appear under the Smithsonian Global Sound logo in the top left-hand corner of the screen. This indicates that you have now successfully accessed the trial site and can listen to complete music tracks.
4. If you wish to create and save your own playlists of tracks, you are required to register as an individual. You can do this by clicking on the Register link on the gray menu bar. You will be asked for a unique email address and password that you can use to log in to your personal settings.
